At the AGM in December 2011, the Foundation introduced the concept of Life membership and Honorary membership (see Bylaw 1) . Both of these levels of membership are in the gift of the Board of the Foundation.
Ordinary Membership is by application to the Board, with an joining fee of $10 at present (comparable to buying a share in the Company). Applicants should read the Constitution (see 6.1 to 6.7), since members have a limited indemnity of $100 each, in the unlikely event that the Foundation has financial problems (See 5.1). At present there are no annual fees.
Life and Ordinary Members may speak and vote at Foundation meetings and receive the Annual Report (preferably by email).
Honorary Members may attend meetings and receive the Report but may not vote, and have no financial obligations.
Membership applications will be assessed according to the contribution that potential members have made to the life and art of William Fletcher, or could make to the Foundation named for him, and its objectives.
Applicants may use the Membership Application form, and may support their application by a Curriculum Vitae, photos and references if desired.
