From 2003, the Visual Arts Faculties on the two campuses at University of Western Sydney have been amalgamated at the Nepean Campus (Penrith/Kingswood). The biennial rotation of campus interviews was changed so that eligible candidates from all institutions could apply annually. Selection procedures which had required travelling assessors to interview candidates on each campus were abandoned.
Applicants are now judged on the quality of examples of their work sent to a central location for assessment and their written submission of a case for need.
